Voronoi
Nature's tessellation — the cell pattern of wings, mud, and foam.
Scatter points on a plane, give every point the territory closer to it than to any other, and you get a Voronoi diagram — the geometry nature produces in dragonfly wings, giraffe coats, drying mud, and soap foam. It's the pattern that makes a steel panel read as grown rather than drawn.
About the voronoi pattern
Voronoi became the signature pattern of contemporary parametric architecture precisely because it sits between order and randomness: cells vary, but the web connecting them is continuous and structural. No two panels need ever be alike — regenerate and the cells fall differently while the character holds.
That continuous web is also why it cuts so well: the sheet stays one piece by construction, and the bar width slider directly sets the web thickness, from a delicate membrane to a bold structural net. Density controls the cell count; scale, their size.
