Squares
The workhorse grid — clean, even, and right at home on anything functional.
A square grid is the most legible perforation there is: rows of square openings separated by straight bars, reading as instantly engineered. It's the pattern to reach for when the panel has a job to do — passing air, hiding hardware, guarding a machine — and you want it to look deliberate rather than decorative.
About the squares pattern
Because every opening is identical and every bar runs straight through, square grids stay rigid even at high open area, and they nest neatly against panel edges with no awkward partial cells. The result reads equally well up close on a cabinet door and across a room on a ventilation screen.
In the studio, scale sets the opening size, density tightens or relaxes the spacing, and the bar width slider controls how much steel is left between cuts — turn it up for strength on big guards, down for a finer mesh on small decor. Everything stays one connected sheet, so the file cuts clean on a fiber laser or a CNC plasma table.
