Spiral
A vortex in the sheet — arms winding out from the center.
The spiral is the oldest mark humans carved — on Neolithic tombs, on petroglyphs, on pottery from every continent — and it still reads the same way: motion, growth, pull. As a panel, winding arms sweep from the center to the edge and the steel itself seems to rotate.
About the spiral pattern
Unlike static radial patterns, a spiral has torque: the eye follows the arms and assigns the panel a direction of spin. Mount one where air actually moves — garden walls, porch panels — and the implied motion does half the work of a kinetic sculpture at none of the cost.
Each arm is a continuous ribbon of steel anchored at hub and rim, so the structure is inherently sound. Scale sets how tightly the arms wind, density the arm count, and rotation the phase of the whole vortex.
