Hex Dots
Round holes, staggered pitch — the densest, most even perforation.
Hex dots place round holes on a 60-degree staggered grid, the layout commercial perforated sheet uses when open area matters: every hole sits the same distance from six neighbors, so the web between holes is uniform everywhere and the panel can run much more open than a square pitch allows.
About the hex dots pattern
The stagger also changes how the panel reads: instead of marching rows and columns, the eye catches diagonal runs in three directions, giving an even, fabric-like texture with no dominant axis. From across a room a hex-dot panel reads almost as a tone rather than a pattern.
Scale sets the hole diameter, density the pitch, and bar width the minimum web the generator preserves between holes. Run it tight for an acoustic-felt look on audio gear, or open it up for serious airflow on equipment enclosures. Exports as a single connected sheet for laser or plasma.
