Hexagons
The honeycomb — nature's favorite ratio of strength to open area.
Hexagonal cells tile the plane with the least wall per unit of opening, which is why bees, aerospace cores, and heat exchangers all converge on the honeycomb. As a cut panel it carries that same logic: maximum see-through and airflow for the amount of steel left standing.
About the hexagons pattern
Visually, honeycomb sits in a useful middle ground — more organic than a square grid, more ordered than a random tessellation — and it has become shorthand for modern, technical design. It pairs naturally with bee and garden themes, but it's just as at home as a server-cabinet vent.
Scale sets the cell size and the bar width sets the wall thickness between cells; density tunes how tightly the comb packs. Large cells in heavy bar read bold and architectural; small cells in fine bar read like technical mesh. Always one connected sheet, cut-ready for laser or plasma.
